It’s quite strange how they all create expressions that have apparently nothing to do with cellphones, and how specially the French put English expressions in the middle of their phrases, as if it came out of nowhere. Well, I have some contact with french langage and I can say people actually use these expressions day by day.

Here in Brazil, there are not many of these “naming apprpriation”. We simply use words such as “me liga” (call me), “mandar SMSs” (to send SMSs), “tirar fotos” (take pictures), “fazer filmes” (make films). I guess the most original of them are “Me dá um toque”, which means blitteraly “Give me a touch”,

Even though everybody says they wanna go to Australia, I always say I want to got to New Zealand. That’s because one day I was lucky enought to meet one australian and one new-zealander at once. They started arguing why their country was better… and the new-zealander convinces me it would be better to go to New Zealand. Why? Because it is a very beautiful country, maybe even more beautiful than Australia. And there aren’t any of that strange animals, insects and all…

Well, since latelly illegal immigrants have started to enter my country, I guess I should pay more attention to this subject. That’s why I’m writing this post.The first thing I would do is to put the army to watch the fronteers, so they could stop them and also stop illegal marchandise and, of course, drugs.This is something quite obvious, but I guess it’s not this much to our current Mr President.I really think we can’t tolerate any illegal immigrant in our country. First, because they steal thousands of jobs from brazilians who are really needing. And by reducing the number of created jobs, they touch our economie in a very bad way (see what’s happening in the US).So If I were the president, I would simply put our police and army after them, checking papers and everything, and send them home if they are illegal. Immigrants are not such a problem for us right now, but it can be one in the future, specially if Brazil continues growing economically. The only thing that’s missing is will. The governement’s will.

This is the bike lane in Santos, where my family lives. I go there every weekend, and it’s part of my routine to go cycling there before lunchtime. Santos is on the coast of Brazil, and this 7 km bike lane goes along the beach garden, which is the longest in South America.

Project red was made to help find a cure for aids in Africa, companies have been asked to start making red products and give some of the profit to help find a cure. Several things have been made to help this cause such as red clothing and red ipods, several actors have been helping with this cause such as Chris Rock, Dakota Fanning, Apolo Ohno and even Steven Spielberg and many more have been supporting this cause. So please help find the cure for Aids by buying red products.

I think this project is really interesting because it helps people who really need. Aids is a huge problem, specially in Africa, and people there don’t have money to treat themselves. Besides,there’s no cure for aids. So Project Red sells nice stuffs, nice red clothes and red accessories, in order to help finding this cure.

In the site, you can see videos made in Africa that show, for example, little babies born with HIV, poor, hopeless people. It’s very impressive.

So, if you can buy some of this red products, do it!
